The President of the Family Division Working Group on Medical Experts in the Family Courts Final Report was published in November 2020, addressing the issues surrounding the shortage of clinical experts, health professionals and independent social workers who are willing to give evidence in Family Court proceedings.
Mark Solon sat down with The Honourable Mr Justice David Williams who convened the Working Group, in order to discuss the motivations for the Working Group, the findings of the report and subsequent developments, as well as any predictions for the future.
