What are the lessons you can learn from being an expert?
Expert witnesses, simply defined, have specialist knowledge over and above a lay person and help the court understand issues outside of its expertise and come to the right decision. It is rare that a professional will be a full-time expert witness. However, expert witness work is a sideline that complements the day job extremely well.
Mark Solon, Director of Bond Solon, interviewed Haydn D. Kelly, Dean, Directorate of Podiatric Surgery (UK) on how his expert work has helped him in his profession.
Next week we will have the pleasure of hearing from Asma Khalil, Consultant in Obstetrics and Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist, St George's Hospital, University of London.

We would like to thank again Haydn D. Kelly for agreeing to be interviewed.
