Advanced Professional Certificate in Investigative Practice
Delegates who undertake 8 days of training and successfully complete the post course assessments will be eligible for the Advanced Professional Certificate in Investigative Practice (APCIP), awarded by The International Compliance Association (ICA) in association with The University of Manchester Alliance Manchester Business School (AMBS).
This training is delivered in blocks of 2 days at a time and delegates must attend mandatory modules:
- Unit 1: Law, Evidence, Procedure & Best Practice (2 days)
- Unit 2 Part 1: Statement/Report Writing (1 day)
- Unit 2 Part 2: Courtroom Skills/Giving Evidence (1 day)
From the optional modules delegates must also attend at least one of the following:
- Investigative Interviewing (2 days)
- Case File Preparation and Disclosure (2 days)
- Employment Investigations (2 days)
And complete (if still required) a maximum of 1 of the following modules:
- Collecting Electronic and Digital Evidence (2 days)
- Advocacy (2 days)
- Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act and the Data Protection Act (2 days)
- Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act and Cross-Examination Day (2 days)
- Data Protection Act and Cross-Examination Day (2 days)
- Conflict Management (2 days)
- Open Source Internet Investigations (2 days)
To date over 7,000 people have successfully completed the Advanced Professional Certificate in Investigative Practice and today it is regarded as the leading qualification for investigators within the public and private sector.
Professional Award in Complaints Handling and Investigations
Bond Solon also offers a Professional Award in Complaints Handling and Investigations, awarded by The International Compliance Association (ICA) in association with The University of Manchester Alliance Manchester Business School (AMBS).
This qualification is made up of three one-day complaints handling training courses.
