The witness box is lonely place. Many professional witnesses feel that they,and their organisation are on trial. Doubt will be cast on the witness's experience, methods, notes and evidence.

Delegates will learn how to plan and prepare to give evidence and how to deal effectively with attacks in cross-examination on how they have carried out their investigation.

They will be cross-examined by defence lawyers on a case study based on their own area of work, and will receive feedback on how to survive in the witness box.
