If you have any questions about the Cardiff University Bond Solon Expert Witness Certificate, please contact the Bond Solon office on 020 7549 2549.
How long do I have to complete my assessment?
Some Bond Solon courses are assessed during the course at the time you attended the training. Other courses are assessed after the training. For post-training assessments, you have 10 weeks from the second day of the module to complete and submit your assessment for that module.
How do I submit my assessment?
If you attended one of our Public courses, please e-mail your assessment to us at assessment@bondsolon.com Alternatively, if you have attended training delivered in house at your organisation, please email your assessment to your in-house course organiser.
When can I expect my results?
All assessment papers must be marked, and after this has been done, all papers must be reviewed by the Bond Solon Assessment Board, which meets regularly throughout the year. Any assessments that are deemed ‘Not Yet Competent’ must be marked a second time, for certainty. Therefore, if you completed your assessment during the training on the day of the course, you can expect to receive your results between 6 and 16 weeks from the day of the course. If the assessment is to be completed in your own time, you can expect to receive your results between 16 and 24 weeks from the day of the course.
Can the deadline for the submission of my assessment be extended?
An extension of time may be granted, but only in exceptional circumstances. Please email us at assessment@bondsolon.com to request an Extenuating Circumstances Form, which should be returned as soon as possible.
I have missed the deadline for the submission of my assessment paper. What can I do?
If we do not receive your assessment 2 weeks after the deadline, we will write to you allowing you a further 2 weeks in which to submit your assessment. If you do not do so, you will be suspended from submitting any further assessments in that module for a period of 365 days. This will not affect any other modules you may be studying.
I have been deemed ‘Not Yet Competent’ in one of my modules. What do I do next?
If you have been deemed ‘Not Yet Competent’ in one of your modules, you will are allowed two further attempts at the assessment, after which you will have to attend the Module again. If your assessment was done during the training on the day of the course, please contact us on 020 7549 2549 to arrange a date for you to re-sit the assessment at our London office. If the assessment was done in your own time, please submit your second attempt to assessment@bondsolon.com. There is an administration fee of £25 for each re-sit.
